Participating Institutions (Members)

Our Members Become a Member

CCB is a closed information-sharing system, which means that information is only made available to Participating Institutions (the Members). Naturally, the registered persons or entities themselves have access to their information as well.

CCB Members are institutions that issue some form of credit, which can be mortgages, loans, credit cards, trade credit, overdrafts, etc.  All credit issuing institutions can become a member provided that they provide consumer credit data to CCB (reciprocity principle).

Credit issuing institutions fall into two categories:

  • A-Members: which are those institutions that have the issuing credit as a business objective (e.g. Banks),
  • B-Members: those that sell goods or services on credit as an add-on component (ancillary service) of selling the goods or service (e.g. telecom companies, or home appliance stores).

If your organization issues credit and you wish to become a CCB Member please contact us.

Contributing Data

All members provide credit-related data to CCB regularly to ensure that current credit data is available on the credit reports.

Legitimate Interest

Members shall only access data if there is a legitimate interest for that organization to access the data (i.e. to manage a credit request). Access to each credit report by Members is registered and Members are required to have evidence of the legitimate interest for having access to the credit report.

Code of Conduct

All members sign a Code of Conduct that describes the acceptable retrieval, delivery, and use of the data.
